Accidently, lol. I was in high school (US secondary school) and was reading list of Swedish foods from our class studies to my Mom. When I said "grisfitta" her eyes got real big and she sez "What did you say?" and then she started laughing. She told me ask my Dad what it meant. hahahaa.



Ever since that time, I'm always clear to pronounce the "r" in fotter, though I don't get much of a chance to speak Swedish.

Except for when I visit the American Swedish Institute, which is local to me. June 14th is the Midsommar Celebration there.

That's always fun.
