Anyhow, I got back from the UK on Saturday and have been totally bummed out ever since. Lagged and still having to go to work and stare glumly at my bloody computer. Have a course to finish designing, researching, writing up and putting online by end of the month. waaaaaaaaaah.

Chris, I have your tabloids: The Sun and something else I forgot the name of. London was not as cold as I expected, and the sun even came out for 3 WHOLE days! We went for a couple of shows, including the Comedy Store - hilarious improv comedy by a troupe of 6. But mostly I just sat around and chin wagged with my mom's family there. Shall post pics just as soon as I figure out how to download them off the camera. Sigh.

We recently got a firewall, and discovered that someone has been trying to break into my computer on a pretty regular basis. Anyone else experienced this?

I don't know a lot about that - I've only been on-line for about 9 months, but I do know it's very important to have a firewall. Someone also told me that it's important to disable filesharing, if you have Windows XP.

I don't file share, that's why I avoid kazaa and music exchange sites (apart from the fact that I cant figure out the downloading software

Where on earth do you get all those pics from??? The woman is doing the Bharat Natyam (classical indian dance) and that's the costume for it. I like wearing sari's though only on special occasions. It's a right pain to deal with all that cloth otherwise. Don't know why indian women bother.

WIT is a play which revolves around a women dying of ovarian cancer. My boss plays her resident doctor. I quite liked it, and my boss is a pretty good actor too.

eeeeek. I have a gig tomorrow - was asked by my lead guitarist to stand in for the singer of his other band who's on holiday. I had one rehearsal with them, so now gotta dash off an do my homework - learn some lyrics. I carefully omitted to tell them about my little problem with amnesia...LOL!
