End Of The World (The intro solo is quite fast)

Murder In The Skies (Also has a fast intro)

Victims Of The Future (Not as fast but good)

Shapes Of Things (Quite fast soloing in the middle)

Hiroshima (Not quite as fast but quite heavy)

Dirty Fingers (Like the intro solos of "End" and "Murder")

White Knuckles (this is quite fast but not really as good as the other stuff even though its fast)



Not for speed, but for good playing still, these songs are good too....

The live version of End Of The World has even faster better intro. When I say intro, they are like just the guitar on its own playing fast intro and then the band comes in, like Van Halen's "Eruption" but Gary's much faster, and not even tapping, with a pick he's that fast....!!



Although they're fast they're always really good aswell not just playing any notes....

I didn't know Yngwie was still playing.



Caught him in Omaha I am guessing in the late 80s playing at a local bar. Great live performer.







I used to have his first three albums...when I used to have albums. He had some cool "80s" song titles like "I am a Viking" and "Deciples of Hell"



I can't remember the names of the albums, but I really liked the one with vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (spelling?) doing vocals. The same dude that was in Rainbow for one album with the song "Stone Cold".



Those are but a few vague memories of mine from the 80s

He brought the appreciation of classical music back to the rock public in a huge way. Caused a tremendous streak of envy to course through guitar player land, and sent tons of people back into practice mode for years. Along with Eddie Van Halen he is what I call a guitarists guitarist
