fantastic pics. The colloseum - can you imagine people once sitting on those steps cheering on some gory sport? :bigeyes

Those pics are really beautiful. I plan to do a tour of europe perhaps next year. Been to london tons of times, but never elsewhere in europe. trouble is with my bloody indian passport i need a visa for everywhere. bugger. :warrior

Drooly.. I took a minidisc and played some of the aegean related material there. It was emotionally moving :colorf

I did the same 2 years ago when i went to the Parthenon in Athens. When you write music on a theme in the UK, it's nice to put something you created into the scenery you previously imagined. :colorf

Heres a shot from the collusseum looking towards the flatlands that once was the sea. This road led to the port once. All thats left is a Salt lake which is obscured in this shot.

Some pillars leading the way to the Collusseum from the library, on a lower parallel to the main street which is about 5 metres above this level. :fade
