OK - here's a short clip from the first feature length video I worked on way back in the Dark Ages. (It was the director's first feature length attempt, too)

I wrote the song - a 3-chord wonder - played the instruments and did backup vocal.

When the engineer did the mixdown for some insane reason he added an annoying hot drum/hi-hat track and really kicked up the bass.

It's a 2nd or 3rd generation video copy, which makes it look & sound even more sucky.

Yeah, I still laugh at the awfulness.

The song is fine Ron, its the swimming costumes that are weird hahahahahhahahahaha

LOL, Chris! I responded on the YouTube page.

Originally I had wriiten a "folksy" song for the lass to sing instead, as a result when we shot this scene I didn't have this particular song written yet. So we had her walk around, count from 1-1000, and act as if she were singing. Later the song was added in and we shot the closeups against a "starry background" since the second half of the film was set "in space".

It was a funny experience - I asked the director about the master copy and he told me he buried it in his backyard with a wooden stake in it, hahahaha!
