| This invasion was planned way before 911. It was never about WMD. It was always about changing the poitical structure of the Middle East in order to control the oil.

If you don't know what chemicals are there how can it be a 'weapons' plant? Chemicals are used to make shampoo too. Maybe it's a chemical weapons plant, I don't know, but it doesn't seem right now that anyone else knows either.

Iraqi chemical plant is clean. Of course it doesn't seem that anyone considers this important, just like I suggested in other forums. Essentially, the vast majority of Americans will continue to believe we did find and secure a chemical weapons manufacturing plant. The propaganda of our news services is goofy. I couldn't find any mention of this on cnn, msnbc or foxnews, once again. Foxnews in particular reported that a 'chemical weapons plant' was found and secured, at least the other services offered up a bit more vague and honest account (chemical storage facility).
I hate to be a cynic, but here's my guess. The officials in the gov't already had intelligence that showed the plant was of no significance and that's why the story disappeared. It doesn't help the war effort to say that Iraq isn't making WMD, so let's just let this particular story just fade away.
