I had sent responses and questions to your "Musing" email 2 weeks ago and was awaiting YOUR reply, actually... I upgraded (and have since gone back down) to AOL 8 and things got wacky. Maybe they vanished into the ethernet...
The short answers pasted back in:
Don't spend for the transfers unless its top material, and if you're hemming and hawing, you must have doubts. Keep the cash.
Stats=Stations if you want them from online sources. 15 stations = 1 play per day. Submit away - 10 a night, get accepted by 1 or 2. Real world? Tattoo your URL on your forehead. OK, maybe not, but get it everywhere you can. Business cards tacked to every music store corkboard. Cant hurt.
Always open for collab. It guarantees that song on the "Paul D's Music" station of songs I've performed on on mp3.com. Ooohhhhh aaahhhh.
In January there will be NY FM radio play for some of my artists if the tides turn right. But dont tell anyone.
OK, so maybe posting that last line and not emailing it was pretty stupid, but what harm can come.
If ever I dont respond in a weeks time, email me, somethings wrong. As you know, I do short answers in an hour usually.

My artist BB linked off of www.mp3.com/geosphere.
Probably won't have one much longer, I expect that to be a casualty of $20 to $5 membership at mp3c.

Thanks, Chris.
Are artist bbs used? Not really. Only if you ask, usually. A few of the regular artists check in from time to time.
Inactive threads are deleted after a month, which is kind of annoying if you would like some to stay, like a welcome or links or such.
Its a novelty, probably to entice users into staying with the $20 plan.
They'll have to come up with something better than that to keep my money.
