Smarties are called "Clever Beans" in Cantonese. And part of the song says "Clever boys eat clever beans" hahahahahhaa :bday

That was a move to save money and nopthing more.



Cardboard flaps are cheaper than plastic caps.



But I don't get it. Here in the US, smarties are a sugary sweet/lightly sour candy.

I've only ever known Smarties in boxes - at least since I've been in Australia. Never heard of them while I lived in the USA. The coating is too "starchy" for my taste.



Give me Cadbury Mini-Eggs anytime! :D
