FORGET looking up "Elmer Knipnoff" because "he" doesn't exist.

Drooly is in German bashing mode today, not acknowledging that Michael Schenker belongs to Rock-History like Ketchup to french fries.

Michael Schenker made the Flying V guitar famous (today he's endorsing DEAN Flying V's) and if you never heard UFO or The SCORPIONS then you better look records up and listen to one of the best Guitar players who ever came from Germany.

I grew up with the Schenker group and UFO!

I have no problem with Michael Shenker...

I've probably seen him live 5 times

I just think it's tacky that Dean Guitars is promoting this way..

and I think at least a tip of the hat to Dimebag Darrell, whos signature guitar that really is, would be nice..

I myself dont really give a damn where Michael came from though..

I'm not real nationalistic about guitar players..

Ones nationality is not the first...nor indeed the second or third or fourth consideration I have when it comes to how I feel about musicians...or other people..

Well I've never heard of Michael Schenker either and thought Drooly was doing what he normally does with spammers, apologies from blah blah board! I'm guessing none of you have heard of "Paul Wong Koon-chung" and if someone came promoting him here in the same manner, Drooly would react in the same way no doubt!!

So Mike, it wasn't German bashing, it's just that Thurdak's first post was like most spammers post!
