An absolutely gorgeous guitar......
But what's with the headstock?
That's not a typical LP headstock..

well...the 70s saw lots of wierd gibsons that were short lived because there was so much groovy stuff happening
and Jimi had made the strat a legend , and that Flying V and...lots of things were being tried..
I think eric had put away his les paul by then and was also playing a strat so GIBSON was trying stuff to win back their sales from Leo..
Gibson made some Bolt On neck maple fretboard guitars..
the L6S was one and it was a 1974-76 guitar..
rare
bright sounding..
this guitar you have here has a 17 degree headstock and a bolt on maple neck with a sol;id mahogony body..
it's like it's a cross between a 50s Gibson les paul TV and a 70s L6s
I've never seen one like it
that does say Gibson on the headstock.....huh?
I think you should probably mail it to me for further analysis..
huh?
I sure would like a close up of that headstock and a look at the back of it...
