Well I went yesterday evening and saw DJ Suv (UK), Finley Quaye (UK) and Waxed Apple (also from UK)! I was gutted to have missed Electric Eel Shock (Japan) though....
I took some pics & videos (as usual) but don't have time to post any as I'm leaving in a few minutes.
It's in Victoria Park (same place the HK Democracy marches started!) and it's a nice atmosphere. Some of our friends have put up a teepee and are having drumming sessions by the teepee.
It's a first for HK to have a festival!! It's a shame Chris W was working or we'd also be playing but it's kind of nice just turning up without any stuff and lying on the grass or dancing to the bands. I could get used to this!!
I'll tell you more tonight when I get back! wheeeeeeeeeeeee

I just realised earlier when I was talking to a friend about it - it's the FIRST time Hong Kong has ever had a festival. And the organisers did a great job. The weather was fantastic and Victoria Park is a great location.
If Hong Kong has more of these, then there is hope that we will be saved from the horrid slow torture of "Canto-pop"
