Yes, I knew that stuff, Seismo - I was just playing with Debbie....
I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada.... - surrounded by North American Native Indians.
I saw and experienced first hand what they have been through.
And I have great respect for them.....

with Phil.
My definition of a friend is someone who TRULY wishes you well - and is there for you in a crunch. Too many people are your "friends" in anticipation of future returns, or not, if they see they cannot get anything out of you.
You will only know that when you actually need them, or dont think you need them but they offer... and be surprised along the way, heh!

Enemies ? That is such a strong word.
I am sure there are people that dislike me on the net, just as I have a few people that I dislike, but enemies ? I hope not.
Being enemies involves too much energy, you have to actually care about someone to become enemies.

Interesting thread. It would be hard for me to call anyone a "friend" or an "enemy" because of anything said over the net....though it is a great place to get differing perspectives. You just don't know who people are based on what they post.....but you can still care for them as people; friend or not.
I think some people who warm up to another may not like the person as much in person, with the opposite also being true. I've had some friends turn out to be enemies, and some enemies that become my friends. Relationships being one of the most important things in this life, it makes for interesting times.

Yup, we're talking a lotta effort and emotional investment there. A waste of both time and energy.
Sometimes you lock horns and bump heads, but that should be nothing more than just a few forgotten stray neurons at log off.
