Hey, that brings up ANOTHER difference between other labels and the GMM programme....

We work alongside artists to decide on the best CD design package....

.....for example, if bbChris wanted a CD cover that was a close up on her in the nude, then it would be fine by us. :tongue

That reminds me, the new Mikey J CD (which will hopefully be completed and released later this year) is going to be called "Get Naked"......

.....that's going to a have a (slightly) controversial picture of me on the front cover.

In the meantime, I'm working really hard down at the local gym, building myself up , so expect a more musclebound Mikey J very soon.

I might consider this when we finally get our CD out (my other band, Ignition). Useful to have multiple distributors. Dyu have samples of the print quality? I was not impressed by MP3s efforts, even less with Peoplesound... in the future are you planning to stock and sell already manufactured CDs (and give people a larger cut)??

Yes. That can be arranged.

If you email me at info@getmemusic.com I'll sort something out for you, ...maybe mail you a sample CD or something.

We get our CDs pressed and printed by a local professional CD manufacturer.

Even the CD bodies (the actual faces of the CDs) are printed in full colour.

Currently, if a band already has a CD for sale elsewhere online, we link it to their Getmemusic Portfolio page.

And it's not just a text link.... We display the CD cover picture, tracklistings and buy button that takes visitors to the CD.

But, however, we are going to start a service (a bit like CD Baby) in the near future where artists send consignments of CDs to us and we sell them through our own shopping cart.

Mind u...CD Baby takes a cut of $4 per CD sold, but our cut will definitely NOT be that high.
