They wouldn't let me get on to the plane to Germany....

I was told at Airport Check-in that I needed a valid visa for Germany. I had presumed since I've been to UK and France that I wouldn't need one for Germany. My travel agent didn't tell me, so I didn't know that I needed a visa. That's the f**king Hong Kong British National Overseas passport - I hate it.



To apply for German visa; I need proof of income, bank statements, letter of abscence from my employer plus valid ticket. Then it takes 3 working days to process.



I've been crying all morning. I will be in Hong Kong now. I will try and rearrange to go to Germany end of May.



I emailed Mike and I guess it's still too early for him to see it.

Yes very horrible - very hard way to learn a lesson.



I will now call Bonnie & rearrange the dates and change the seat on my ticket. I'm looking at end of May.
